Is your dog struggling to walk up the stairs? Does your cat have difficulty standing up after a long snooze? Your pet may be suffering from arthritis. Fortunately, the team at Killarney Vale Veterinary Clinic is here to help. While it cannot be cured, we offer a range of pet arthritis treatments that can minimalise pain, promote ligament growth and increase mobility.
Following an x-ray diagnosis, we can use therapeutic treatments to increase circulation, reduce inflammation and lessen pain. We also offer medications designed to assist with stabilising joint membranes and repairing cartilage.
For more information, reach out to us on
(02) 4334 2002. We also offer treatments for
chronic conditions such as kidney disease, hyperthyroidism and diabetes at our Central Coast clinic.
There are several signs that indicate your dog or cat has arthritis. If you notice your pet is having difficulty moving around, is less active than usual or is experiencing pain when walking—book a consultation with our veterinarians.
Other signs to look out for include:
i. You will need to fill out a C3A change of ownership form.
ii. The previous owner will need to sign, as well as the new owner.
iii. If you cannot obtain a signature from the previous owner, a Statuary Declaration form signed by a J.P. would be required for council.
